The question of what can be done today in support of a clean planet has a myriad of answers and possibilities that any person can put into practice. All that’s needed is awareness on the importance of caring for the environment and of addressing its pollution problems.
That’s why the Tecnológico de Monterrey is advancing an Ecoinnovation program through its Research and Innovation Track (MIi) so that companies can sustainably develop processes and products.
The Ecoinnovation program is headed by Noel León, PhD, Technology in Design and Innovation chair, who together with Rubén Morales, PhD, associate director of the Research Center and MIi coordinator, has worked on this pioneering project at the undergraduate level.
To achieve Ecoinnovation product production, distribution, and even marketing techniques much be analyzed, researched and developed. In this sense, the program developed by the Tecnológico de Monterrey offers 5 research stays, 2 product development workshops, and the possibility of patenting creations.
Upon completing his/her undergraduate studies, the Tecnológico de Monterrey will grant the student a credential-value certificate on top of his/her degree for having pursued the research track.
