According to the Emerging/Trendence Global Employability Ranking study, the Tecnológico de Monterrey is the number two Latin American university cited by company CEOs and executives in 10 countries as sought out when recruiting MBA graduates. The list of the 150 universities most looked to first when hiring was published by The New York Times in its October 19, 2011 edition.
The Tecnológico de Monterrey ranked 111th. Brazil's Fundação Getulio Vargas took the 98th spot, making it the most mentioned Latin American university. Mexico's Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (114) and Brazil's Universidad de Sao Paulo (139) are the other two Latin American collages included in the top 150 universities worldwide.
CEOs and executives were surveyed in Belgium, Brazil, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, and the United States.

This study is consistent with the results obtained by the Tecnológico de Monterrey in other international rankings. According to the QS World University Rankings 2011, the Monterrey Campus stands at number 320 worldwide. The same publication ranks this campus as number 7 in Latin America. The methodology includes 6 features, one of them the institution's reputation among employers. In this category, the Monterrey Campus ranks 51 worldwide and number 2 in Latin America.
